The seat is wide and the back contoured ergonomically. It’s not cushy, but isn’t hard either. It’s much like a standard office chair.
Can You Adjust the Seat Position?
You do have to loosen three knobs to manually adjust the seat.

Therefore, I wrote Exerpeutic and asked them about it. They told me “Smooth Torque” meant “no vibration, no noise.” And it should rotate smoothly as the pedals turned it. Well, if they mean it to represent some kind of technology, they’re not explaining it.
But they are telling us they are working hard to make sure the wheel makes no noise as it turns. And it moves smoothly as you pedal.
